Previous outreach events

The UNL Aerospace Club has a lot of fun reaching out and supporting our local community. We get to show off what we do and help the members of the community through our shared interest in aerospace! Below are some pictures at our Outreach events.

Our members showed our club’s support to women in STEM at the annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering event on Innovation campus. The members taught girls from K-6th grade about rockets and how to build them!

A few of the Aerospace Club members participated in the Curriculum Hackathon Competition and won 1st place with their “Space: The Final Frontier” idea!

The Aerospace Club members were excited to showcase their previous projects at the UNL Party at the Union Event on August 18,2018.

The Aerospace Club went to the Lincoln Science Expo at the Haymarket Park where we got to share what we do with the community and watch the Solar Eclipse.

The UNL Aerospace Club attended the annual Big Red Welcome event where we were recruiting new members and spreading awareness about our organization.

The UNL Aerospace Club Rocketry team attended the event Sunday with a Scientist at Morrill Hall and educated the youth about rockets!
